Hi! If you are new to our site, we are Nan and Lu. We are first cousins who have been together since we were toddlers and are now business partners. Through the years, and most especially through our adult years, we have used the highlights in our lives to build relationships that include, family, fun, special occasions, vacations, and now our business. The common thread in this saga is our love of “shopping”. We have been through so many of life’s journeys, happy, sad, exciting, disappointing, but always together. We are very fortunate and are looking forward to sharing our life experiences and the knowledge we have gathered along the way. We have been wives, mothers and business women in our separate fields and now we are business partners. So let us share some thoughts with you in this never-ending need that most women experience. First off, one of life’s joys is that you are never too old to learn something new and never too young to try to reach for your dream. Have you ever had one of those days or weeks where everything in your life is a struggle? When you struggle for too long, your whole attitude changes and sometimes not for the better. For us this usually means a morning or afternoon of shopping for our favorite things. We don’t even need to buy something that day just looking around lifts our spirits and clears the head. Just walking away from your stresses with a good friend or even by yourself, can do wonders to release some of the tension and energy drain and allow you to start again.
Our new joy and purpose is to curate “shopping therapy” for whoever can benefit from it. We know that shopping is not for everyone. But taking time to step back, seek some personal breathing space from life’s demands and obligations is therapy indeed. We encourage you to reach out and explore different types of shopping. Through the years we have explored antique shopping, flea market shopping, internet shopping, and specialty store shopping making everything in our homes more efficient. We believe in family, we believe in celebrations, and special occasions that mark your passage on the journey of life. It is fun and life affirming, as it should be.
Our plan is to post a weekly blog sharing our joys, friends and adventures. We are always searching now for the latest and greatest finds to add to our store. We are so very fortunate to live in a lovely area and it will be our pleasure to share these excursions with you through this blog and include pics of our favorite people, places and things.
